How it Works

You can use the Omnisend platform with Paid Memberships Pro by installing the main Omnisend WordPress Plugin and the Omnisend for Paid Memberships Pro Add-On.

With these plugins properly configured, your membership site will sync members as contacts with membership level information to your Omnisend account.

Installation

  1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New in the WordPress admin.
  2. Search for the plugin by name.
  3. Click “Install“, then “Activate“.

Settings

The plugin will automatically begin syncing member information to your Omnisend account upon activation.

You can optionally enable two checkboxes that require members to opt-in to mailing list and SMS list subscription.

  1. Navigate to Settings > PMPro Omnisend in the WordPress admin.
  2. Check the box to “Enable consent collection“.

To support SMS list subscription, your checkout page must include a field with the field name bphone. This field is captured by default if your Membership Checkout page shows the Billing Address section.

You can also create this as a User Field. Be sure your new phone field is shown at checkout and is set up with the exact field name bphone.

Your Membership Checkout page will now show two checkboxes to allow members to opt in to marketing communication from you.
