You can customize backgrounds in Memberlite by setting a “Background Image”, “Header Background Image”, or defining the background color for your site via Appearance > Background.
Add a Site Background Image
- Navigate to Appearance > Background or Appearance > Customize > Background Image.
- In this section, you can upload a background image and set the appearance of the image including tiling/repeat, position, and fixed/scrolling.
Add a Header Background Image
- Navigate to Appearance > Header in the WordPress Admin.
- Click “Add New Image” to upload an image for your header or to select an image from the Media Library.
- The image should be uploaded at 1440px x 10px for best appearance.
- If needed, you will be able to “Crop” the image after uploading. Click “Save Changes” to apply the logo to your site.
Set the Background Color
- Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Colors.
- Under the “Colors” section, update the “Background Color”.
- To modify the background color, click the “Select Color” to bring up a color picker where you can select a color or enter a hexadecimal color value.
If you choose a dark background color, we also recommended checking the box to “Use Dark Background/Inverted Scheme” on the Customize > Colors screen. This will update text colors and white/grey background elements to better complement your dark background.
By following these steps, you can easily customize backgrounds in Memberlite to match your website’s design and branding.
