Filter Members Based on their Location

We recently published a tooltip on how to filter your Paid Memberships Pro Members Directory. This code recipe will allow you to expand on that idea by allowing you to filter members based on their location using our PMPro Membership Maps Add On.

About the Code Recipe

We are working on ways to provide our members with more options to sort their member’s data. This has been an important feature, and for good reason. Data filtration is important, especially if you have a membership directory that has dozens or even hundreds of members.

This filtration method will allow you to sort members based on their location. This is great for membership sites that want their members to find each other. For example, franchise chains, club memberships, or even groups.

Filter Members on your Membership Maps

This code recipe allows you to search and sort members based on their location. In order for this method to work, you will need your members to have their locations geocoded. In addition, you will need to install and configure our PMPro Membership Maps Add On. Once set up, you will be able to view members and filter them based on their location.

Filter Members of a Membership Directory

While this method was designed to work with our PMPro Memberships Maps Add On. You can also couple this together with our Paid Memberships Pro Membership Directory Add On. Doing so will add a widget to your member’s directory where users can sort search results and find members based on their location.
